When I am talking to people, I hear an annoying low pitched rapidly rhythmic thumping sound. The party I'm talking to doesn't hear it. Guess it is in the phone. Have an iPhone 5. Got it at BB over Christmas. Using Verizon.
Thoughts??

^aka "you're holding it wrong".

No, that's not what I'm saying (as I considered that statement to have been condescending when it came out of Steve Jobs' mouth at the time.)

The noise-cancelling microphone is a new factor and some users have had varied responses to same. I was merely asking the question.

Yeah, god forbid you try to actually help someone around here. If you're not ridiculing the OP you might as well not post.

Guys, still happening. Definitely didn't hold anyplace that seemed like it covered something. I held by the sides on the bottom of the phone.
I DO have a "Lifeproof" supposedly waterproof cover on it. Could that be inhibiting something?? Annoying almost "ceremonial rhythmic ritualistic" humming... pulsating.
Thoughts??
Thx.

No need to explain. I was joking.

Yes, some of the LP cases cause this to happen. Contact them about it. Right now their CS is pretty slow.
