I must have got in right at the last second. Ended up getting $100 in Amazon.com gift cards for $50 total. This was a steal. Thought about it later and was considering going back to be greedy, but stayed home after reading they stopped honoring this deal towards gift cards.

Someone on another forum appartently bought $1600 worth of Amazon.com cards for $800 that is mental!

Ah shucks. Well it was worth a try. :) I was only looking to use one! Didn't think people would buy hundreds!

If you got giftcards you better redeem them now. I read somewhere that they were canceling unused giftcards and refunding them.

One person claimed that they got $1650 worth of prepaid Visa cards for $50 by paying for the later cards with the 1st one they bought.

I redeemed my $100 on amazon.com already and it still shows in good standing. If Best Buy mucks this up they'll lose me as a customer for good.

Why did they make the coupon in the first place if they weren't going to honor it for the dates listed on it?

I ran over there too late and they had cancelled the coupon. I'm sure somewhere in there people can really make a stink if they cancel those gift cards. I was going to buy Amazon gift cards and use them myself. 50% off would have been fantastic.

It is BB's fault, not the customer's.

I got some PP Visa cards, before they pulled the plug on GCs.... Those cards are pure cash..

Also got the Apple TV 3 for $45 :)

All in all, a very eventful day at BB :D And, I used Amex! Some BB cashiers do not care!!

You guys should visit Slick Deals or Fat Wallet ( forums ) once in a while :)

They had a two-day deal on iPhones for $50 off either a 4S or 5 with 16GB of storage. Pulled the lever and got my mom one after all the issues she was having with the battery displaying 40 percent and then the phone turning off.

Don't forget that you can always get 5 percent off at Target with the credit card. If you get prescriptions there and time it right, you can add another 5 percent off. Sometimes there will also be a similar gift card thing.
