If there's an Apple Store close by, I'd do the 10pm order for pickup thing. I've heard of a lot of people having success with that. Like next day success.

Or simply order from MacMall. They always seem to have plenty of Minis in stock and offer $30 flat rate overnight delivery. Other retailers like Target, Wal-Mart, etc. stock them too.

The last three days this option hasn't been available on the app. It always says, "Not eligible for pickup." With free shipping, it's saying, "Delivers by Dec 17." Very long time.

How about BestBuy or something? Other than a big box store, just keep trying the 10pm thing. It'll pop up. I would think...

Even though in store reserves are going on, most stores have them in stock if you walk in. Every single one within about 30 miles of me have them in stock if you actually go in store

You may want to try a local Best Buy or Target. I got lucky with my 16GB wifi slate model on launch day late in the day and got the last one at Target. The black seems to have more stock so maybe you'd get lucky at BB or Target as well. Other than that, the 10pm reservation is your best option.
