any help removing drm from ibooks?

I bought some ibooks on my ipad, and just realized that there is no ibooks app in mountain lion to let me read on my computer. only on iOS devices. serious deficiency in service i think.
anyway, i have adobe digital editions installted to read some older books i purchased with kobo,so i am wondering if there is a way to remove the drm from the eppub files in tunes library so i can add to digital editions and read that way on my mini.

anyone know of a way to do this? or other suggestions of a workaround?

Unfortunately all I can suggest is providing polite feedback to Apple. Do state how it's impeding your workflow. Also suggest that you may have to look at buying books elsewhere.

The more people who provide feedback to Apple about this, the more likely it is that they may rectify the situation.

Yes, there is a way to remove the DRM. BUT it is not to be discussed here, search for it on google.
