Exclamation rMBP HDMI External Screen LAG

Hi Guys.

im planning on buying an external for my rMBP.
I have a Mac Pro with external through dual dvi link, but am wondering how the rMBP would perform with HDMI connection.

- Need high FPS
- External Res. 1080p
- Would turn off macbook display

Are you finding the Macbook Pro performs well through HDMI?
Any 'input lag'/other issues?

Thanks

the only apple machine I've ever seen lag on an external display were the early airs. I run 2 on my rMBP without a problem; it even handles dragging game windows from one display to another, something that has caused problems for me in the past.

Your frame rate would vary depending on what you're doing.

That said, I never had any issues running a 1080p TV via HDMI.
