yeah my though exactly. Obama Plan 3 I though was by far the best based off that quick graph.

It to me screams standard GOP blocking unless they get EVERYTHING they want and then some.

2 months from now we will have our next pissing match and the GOP will have an even stronger hand than they had now.

That is really going to suck. All this is hurting the GOP in the voters' eyes and even Ann Coulter believes this to be the case.

What started with the tea party, whether it has anything to do with them or not, or maybe even Grover Norquist, has made a GOP who are really out of touch. Do they think they can throw the seniors under the bus in an aging America?

The GOP is already weak with younger voters, as they have traditionally been, and their anti-social security stance will just end up making them lose the house. How long does the GOP think they can get by with just the single demographic of white male voters and the bible belt? And as that group and that region increasingly become college educated and liberal, the GOP doesn't look good in the long run. Maybe they will somehow eke out a win in 2016, but over the next few elections after that I can't imagine what they could do to recoup.

Unless the economy is in a worse shape in 2016, or they start to adapt they can't win.

When the democrats had the working people to rely on and the GOP got increasingly shoved into only having the rich, the Reagan revolution was brilliant in bringing in a lot of white, blue collar workers. What they said empowered them, but as history shows what the GOP in the 1980s did was treat them like the chickens they were getting shipped off to KFC. It was basically like being a chicken voting for the colonel as one pissed off white, blue collar worker told me who didn't buy into Reagan's all inclusive umbrella which was probably the best smokescreen in late 20th century American politics.
