I don't know about any website, but the answer to your question is easy.
If you have an iPhone 5, it came running iOS 6.0. It is not capable of running an earlier version. If you have any other iPhone, it was released before iOS 6.0. |

For what purpose would you need to prove the phone was made early?

If the iPhone was purchased at an Apple store at any time during the initial Launch date September 21st, 2012. ALL iPhones were shipped with IOS 6.0. If your iPhone was purchased at an Apple store at any time after November 1st, iPhones shipped would be under IOS 6.0.1 or IOS 6. IOS 6.0.1 was released on November 1st, 2012. IOS 6.0.2 was released December 18th, 2012.
