I have lots of stuff I need to get on the web quickly. Is it possible to set up Dreamweaver to dynamically generate pages based on a Filemaker Pro database and templates? I am thinking of creating pages locally and uploading static pages while our web site is redesigned.

Here is an ODBC/ASP solution as outlined in this Adobe white paper:

http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/creating-asp-pages-using-filemaker.html

The problem is, the first sentence of the article is: "While FileMaker is not one of the databases that was tested by the Dreamweaver engineers during development....." Typical Adobe halfway support of anything. I know people love the Adobe template system, but if you don't want to bang your head against the wall continually, you might consider a well supported and alternate third party solution for Filemaker support and templates:

http://www.seedcode.com/cp-app/splash/1?gclid=CL-1yY2DibgCFa9fQgodN1oAHg

Seedcode makes numerous other solutions for common development tasks as you can see from their page. Explore. This is all I could find, wait for other replies as I am not a guru on this stuff. Just getting the ball rolling as I saw no replies (and don't be surprised by that, your question was very limiting in products and technologies).

Thanks for reply! Will check out the links. Seedcode solution would definitely be the way to go for me. Well supported is what I need.
