Anyone try running the native client (from Steam) of Borderlands 2 on a 2010 low end 13' MBP? It's half off and I'm trying to figure out if it would run or not (systemsrequirementlab shows that the Windows partition would run so I'm guessing the OS X client would also run decently?)

On the 17" mid 2010 Macbook Pro it runs exactly as Borderlands 1. Never less than 30 fps with the shadows off.:)

The game runs great on that machine! You can also check out http://www.gameagent.com and use the MacMatch feature to tell you if other games will run as well :)

To be honest; it runs like crap on a rMBP..

It lags and lags and lags, and that on 1440x900.. field of depth should be turned off, shadows as well.

Still, runs nicely on 1920x1200 @ windows on high (though 1680x1050 is the way to go for nice fps, and 1440x900 with aa still looks nice on 90 fps)
