Is it truly that EVERY me.com account will automatically have an icloud.com account reserved that is automatic and will last indefinitely (per Apple anyway). Is it possible that if you don't use the icloud.com address that it will be given to another registrant later on?

If you had a @me.com address before the @icloud.com equivalent is added to your account automatically. If you decide not to use it then it will just sit there alongside unused aliases.

Just to be sure. So the icloud.com address is mine forever if I do not "reclaim" it by using it. In other word, no one else can "steal" it later if I do not "reclaim" it now. Am I correct?
