Suggestions For An External Optical Drive For My New iMac
I'd like to not spend the money on Apple's Superdrive...I'm looking for one with 1 USB connection, not two. Any suggestions?

They sent some for free to some new orders. I can't boot off most 3rd party ones. Maybe you need a super drive for this.

I'm in the market for an external blu-ray writer as well - that memorex sounds promising - any other posters have a recommendation?
