I bought a brand new macbook air on black friday in 2011.
The thing is i'm wondering if i buy it now, even though its 2013 is it possible to get Applecare for warranty issues if i ever have a problem in near future?

You can only buy AppleCare anytime during the first year, while your Mac is still under the original warranty.

So what you're saying is. Even if i go out and buy it, i will be wasting money and it would be pointless because registering the applecare would not work. Is that correct?
