Keeping Multiple iTunes Libraries on a Single Computer
From the Apple web site:
If you share your computer with others and you each want your own individual iTunes library, hold down the option (on a Mac)/ shift (on a PC) key each time you start iTunes. You'll be given the opportunity to create a library or choose among those that have already been created. If I follow these directions can I have 2 different Apple TV's have their own library? Setup: ------- MacPro running ML server (host for itunes) Apple TV - Adults Apple TV - Kid There are things I want the adults to access that I don't want the kids to access but would like them all hosted on the same machine. Thanks. Bill |

if you are talking about movies, you could tag them with the parental warning ratings and then set up the kids aTV to only play a certain rating. It should prompt for a password for stuff that isnt authorized. Or are you trying to find a way to get them to not list at all?

ahhh ok. Yeah I am guessing a 2nd library on a VM would be the way to go.
The only other thing I can do is mark them as podcasts and then turn off podcasts for the kids. Then they wont list at all. |

Haven't tried it myself, but worth looking at.
