keeping it simple - steps to adding windows to a mac
I'm reading many threads on specific tasks and technical Q&A, but I'd like some basic questions answered please by those that have done this.
I have about 125 GB free on my rMBP. I intend to install Windows 8 Enterprise on my SSD. 1) how much space should I use to partition? My initial research says I can get away with about 50GB. Full install, Office 2013, Photoshop, swap file space, ~5GB for dropbox and perhaps 12GB for 1 (large) game. 2) can I change the size of the partition easily later? 3) I want to use VMFusion. In what order do I do this?? (install VMFusion first? install win 8 under bootcamp first? set partition first? etc). thanks. |

Running via VMware is totally different from Boot Camp, you need to make that decision first.
