I installed the latest version last night on 10.8.3, it's pretty straight forward. Download the code, then read the README, it'll tell you all the dependencies. I used Macports to install all the dependencies, as it does it just fine and is easier to maintain. Then just follow the INSTALL directions and you should be good. Make sure when you're installing stuff that you'll need root privileges. Afterwards, there is a README.OSX that you should read, that lists a bug and a fix.
I got it installed no problem, but I am still not able to get port forwarding to work correctly, so it's still pretty useless to me on ML.
