The iPhone 5 should have come out in 2011. Seriously

Why didn't release this phone last year instead of the 4s? Nothing about it is innovative or unique to 2012. The iPhone 4S was the biggest mistake ever. Why did Apple even release it when they could have released the iphone 5? Of course I didn't expect the A6X processor but I'm sure they could have done a lot better.

Wish it could have been 4.3" too. You know the exact same form factor as the Samsung Galaxy S II. That had the best form factor of any phone.

Give it up. You've tried the iPhone 5 and returned it, and was contemplating going back to it again once the QC issue clears up. No need to start another useless thread.

The iPhone 4s's failure helped Apple's stock jump from $400 to $630+ in just half a year! I think I should start my own company--go public, release "fail" products, and watch my shares skyrocket!

Yeah abd it's frustrating because we should have had it last year. They haven't done anything innovative to it. Some of us are only using the 4s and we should be left with a lot more.

And 4.3" is the perfect size!

Apple should just release the iPhone 14 tomorrow! iPhone 5S thru 13S will be crap anyway. the 14 would be much better...

My point being that if Apple had the technology to make the iPhone 5 in 2011 they would have. As it happened they didn't until 2012, which is when they released it.

Development cycles for Apple products are too slow.. Samsung and HTC are really cranking out some nice stuff now... and with Jelly Bean, it's a legitimate product now..

Eh @ HTC. Samsung will soon, if they're not already be the King of smartphones.

People are on contracts so they have to wait 2 years to upgrade 4 to 5. 4s to 5s. C'mon you still just don't get it do you.

Apple couldn't careless about contracts. So many people just end up selling their phones while their mid into their contracts now then buy the new one.

It is not a mistake from a business perspective, they sold 4s like hot cakes
