Jeepers! Those servers look so over-priced compared to the new '12 models. The $200 Apple RAM is pushing them up a lot, no doubt!

They have two versions of the 2011 server-- with 4GB and 8GB memory, for the same price?


I paid $849 for mine earlier this year, so it seems the refurb prices haven't really dropped yet.

Actually $889 for the dual 750GB version seems like a good deal, since those are 7200rpm drives.

Bought mine for $759.00 the week the 2012 came out. Heard Apple sold hundreds of 2011 servers on that day they were advertised at that $759.00 The demand probably pushed the price back up.
