Restoring Jailbroken A-Tv2

Is it possible to restore a jailbroken apple tv 2 running version 4.4.4 to the latest 5.2 software, as I am having problems with it at its current state. I have gone to iTunes and did this and it is not allowing me, it says the files are corrupt.

Make sure you try the restore on DFU mode.

It is possible. Currently, if you have a 4.4.4 jailbroken apple tv 2, you can restore to 4.4.4, 5.0.2 or 5.2, all can be done with different method.

you may not want 5.2 firmware now, cause xbmc, Plex and other software are not compatible yet.

4.4.4 is menu based while 5.0.2 is icon based with some extras (hulu pluse,...)

5.0.2 restoration is very straight forward with Seas0nPass, while 4.4.4 involves a little trick (just google it, you can find it).

Good luck.
