Well, I am new iPad user and recently I get a new iPad 4. I also use a zerg cover with keyboard. And recently I notice that the device is getting warmer. I mean really not that warm like my old DELL inspiron laptop but its really noticeable. And for your information, I do type a lot (actually trying to replace my laptop and using the new iPad 4 instead. ) My question here is, is it normal, because I also use a Samsaung Galaxy Tab II 7'' but I never notice that device getting warmer.

Yep, that's normal, especially when playing heavy games or doing a whole lot of heavy web page browsing it can get pretty warm, but it can cool down pretty quickly to, from what I've experienced.
