To save you a half hour of confusion about the dimensions and weight for shipping of an iMac 27", here are some numbers for you.

Helpful if you need to send by FedEx, or if you are ordering multiple units.

Shipping wt. -- 38 lbs
Box Dimensions 31"x10.5"x24.5"

Surprising, isn't it.

The helpline (apple) and customer service had smoke coming of their ears to look this info up.
