How can I do this myself? (Color my iPhone)

Anostyle.com offers a service where they anodize your devices and make them different colors. Is anyone familiar with what kind of process is used also what machinery will i need. I want to do it for myself, friends and family. I do not mind spending a couple thousand dollars on equipment, it would be cool if it could be applied to laptops as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if Apple went this way. I think the iPods look great.
