USB 3 Upgrade on MBA 2011
Hi guys,
Just want to know. Is it possible to upgrade usb3 on MBA 2011 13"?

The internal USB ports cannot be upgraded or changed in any way.

More precisely it's part of the Platform Controller Hub so even if you had a lot of fancy equipment you couldn't do a chip swap.

True, I really wish those had been a bit cheaper. I would like a TB dock that included an active DisplayPort hub so I could power both of my external DVI monitors from the internal graphics chip (I'm using a DisplayLink USB 2.0 adapter).
Except for the two products I listed... |
