iPod iPhoto videos to iPod Classic?

Hey gang! I would like to ask your advice on the best way to transfer videos from iPhoto to the iPod Classic. These videos were originally shot via iPhone so I know the format is correct. And, I know about having either quicktime or itunes to convert to the "iPhone and iPod" version but this is manually.
I was hoping someone found a much smoother way of doing this.
