PCSX2 and Mac OS X Lion HELP!

I've attempted to run PCSX2 on my MacBook os x lion. When i attempt to run the application it bounces up and down repetitively never actually opening. then when i click the bouncing icon it simply disappears. If anyone has any experience running PCSX2 help would be appreciated, i'm at a loss.

about that emulator, that some OS X port, the 0.9.6 versions has problems. And the 0.9.7 version is considered by the developer itself "unstable and pre-beta"
Also heard that in the 0.9.6 version you need the latest versions of the CG framework and XQuartz if I remember well.....
