If the phone was originally on at&t, then you don't need the phone to be unlocked for use with straight talks at&t sim.

Guess what?
You could always use straight talk with any AT&T locked cellphones.
It runs off AT&T's network.
Same as H2O and red pocket.
On other news, the Earth is round

Juice is exactly correct.

Straight Talk is an AT&T mvno.
A ST sim will run perfectly in any AT&T locked or unlocked iPhone.
