HDMI issues with Mac Mini 2012 - Page 2

No issues here. Stock adapter in box connected to a Dell U2412M via DVI. I may have noticed some flickering once off but there are no color issues and no odd graphical glitches. Everything is smooth. I have the EFI firmware update installed too.

I don't think so. Too many of us seem to have rotten hdmi cables (from reputable brands) if that is the case. Giving us all the same problems of not being able to see eg the grey box round a gmail log in. It doesn't make sense.

AppleCare even told me this was an ongoing issue for a number of users and that it hadn't been fixed for everyone by the firmware update. As a fair few people have reported here on this thread and others - glasgood got sent a moshi mdp - hdmi adapter from Apple which didn't work.
