EASY app for image editing (VERY watered down photoshop kinda stuff)

I'm looking for an easy to use and learn app for editing pictures and creating flyers and stuff. Sorta like a watered down photoshop.

I'm a musician and I have to constantly create flyers for concerts and stuff like that and I wanna use something other than Pages (which has been ok and helpful) but I want something that will let me create a bit more.

What is it out there?

I'll also cast my lot in with the Pixelmator option. A Great app, good price provides some great features.
