Hello people.

I've been strugling with this for awhile now. I get a Kernel panic every now and then and I searched the Web for a solution and I am still a little lost here.
Some say it's little snitch and others the wifi... But the truth is I own 2 mac computers (a macbook and a mac pro) both have little snitch and wifi and only the Mac Pro gets Kernel Panics...

I copied the error message. If anyone can help me I would be most gratefull.

mdworker is Spotlight's process. I would try rebuilding the Spotlight index as a starting point and see if it continues to occur.

The quick and easy way to do so is to go into System Preferences > Spotlight, click on the Privacy tab, add your hard drive (Macintosh HD?) along with whatever external hard drives are connected to the list and close System Preferences. I would wait a few minutes, reboot your Mac, work for a few more minutes then go back into Spotlight's privacy preference and remove your drives from the list. This should force Spotlight to reindex your system.

No guarantees that will fix it but thats where I would start. Good luck!

Neither Little Snitch, Nor Wifi, nor Spotlight should cause KPS in the normal running of things.
However, a KP is usually caused by third-party software that doesn't work as well as it should; or a hardware fault.

First: check the entire crash log, which should include a list of kernel extensions. Any third-party ones, usually at the top of the list, should be uninstalled while you're testing.
Alternatively, boot up in Safe Mode, which will not load third-party extensions, and see if the problem persists.
Also, create a brand new user account, and see if the problem persists. This may pinpoint the cause as something in your original user account -- possibly a Login Item that doesn't play well, or a LaunchAgent in the user's Library folder.

Also, check for third-party Spotlight mdimporters in /Library/Spotlight. I have one app whose mdimporter doesn't work at all well, causing cpu thrashing and lots of log messages. (Finale 2012).

While you're testing, I would uninstall Little Snitch, and anything else third-party that runs in the background. Strip it down to the bare OS, and then build it back up.

Neither Little Snitch, Nor Wifi, nor Spotlight should cause KPS in the normal running of things.

Good advice. The quote above though made me chuckle though, really NOTHING should cause a kernel panic in the normal running of things. However I have seen all three (along with many, many others) cause kernel panics in the past though. Spotlight specifically boiled down to a corrupt index on one customer's Mac a few years ago. As soon as the user account would load it would kernel panic within a few seconds. Eventually we isolated the cause to the spotlight index and after forcing it to rebuild (through the Terminal rather than the above method) all was well again.

I guess my point is that I've learned not to rule out any possibilities when dealing with kernel panics over the years. Because one hasn't experienced a specific issue doesn't make it any less likely to occur.

Bad news.
I tried the thing with spotlight and it all went well for a few hours but then, boom!
I am checking my RAM with Rember to see what I get, but the last test revealed that nothing was wrong with it.

Meanwhile heres the complete Kernell Panic log as someone asked here before.

what's the avira file access control? could it be causing the problem?

I don't think so... I installed avira a few days ago. I started to get kernel panics before that.

Could it be the Graphic Card? Some times my browser windows and Photoshop window get all these multiple color lines and/or the menus get distortion...

are you using your original RAM? If not try putting the original RAM back in. Sometimes aftermarket RAM will cause KPs and the various test programs don't show a problem.

I'm no expert at resolving kernel panics. The following may help, or it may not.

From post #6:
"FireWire Device: built-in_hub, 800mbit_speed
FireWire Device: unknown_device, unknown_speed"

Do you have a firewire device connected when the KP's occur?

If so, try DISconnecting the firewire device, and running that way for a while.

Does it make a difference?

Your operating system is several versions out of date. You're on 10.7, while the latest Lion version is 10.7.5. Troubleshoot again after you run Software Update a couple of times to be sure you get all the necessary updates.
