Factory unlocked vs carrier unlocked
What's the difference btwn a factor unlocked phone and one unblocked by the carrier? If AT&T has unlocked my phone I assume it can then be used on other US carriers?
Thanks! |

No difference.
They both will accept and work with any GSM sim. |

Not everyone knows about the AT&T ebay unlocks etc... Most buyerd just want a phone that is already unlocked and they dont have to do any work besides sticking their sim in and use it. |

The funny thing is even with $3 third party unlockers readily available, it's still going for ~$450 (32GB), same as in the previous years.
