So, i am trying to restore my friend's iPod touch for him because he forgot his passcode. I believe it is a second generation but it could be a third. It is disabled not for a certain time period, but says connect to iTunes. I connect it to iTunes and get the message that it can't connect with the iPod because it is locked with a passcode. In any other situation, i would put it into DFU mode and do a restore that way. But the power button is broken so I can't do that either. Can anyone help me? Thanks. It is much appreciated.
