I have downloaded a comedy CD as mpeg files.

it appears as "music" on my iTunes, but I'd like it to be classified as a podcast.
i used to do this simply by going to "options" and selecting "podcast" as the media type, but it won't do this with this particular album.

Any suggestions?

I change them to audiobooks. Same way you describe above. I don't know what the difference is.

Yes - I did that as an experiment and it works....why not for podcasts?

I have previously kept all my spoken stuff - comedy etc - on podcasts, so having to label them as Books, Audio books" is slightly annoying.
