I work outside quite often and I keep my iPhone in a holster. The other day/night it was 3F (-16C) without the windchill and my phone is fine. It was on my belt under my coat for probably an hour or so.
27" iMac (late 2013), iPad 3, iPhone 4S, Apple TV (3rd Gen), Airport Extreme (6th Gen), assorted Android and Windows devices

I live in NY and we have been having some cold weather lately, is it likely for the cold to drain my iPhone 5 battery?
