Will Google Sync still work after restore?

I set up my phone with Google Sync (using Exchange) a few months ago for push. I know Google stopped new accounts from using this method after Jan 30th. However, I have to restore my phone as new due to some issues. Will I still be able to set up Google Sync or am I screwed? Thanks!

yes, as long as it's the same device you are using. i just restored mine this wk.

Great, you did a clean install and it still worked? No issues at all?

actually i restored from the backup, sorry i didn't actually read the OP properly.
anyway, if there's any issue after a clean install, download the gmail app and u would get the push mail again (not thru exchange, but push notification).
