i was tinkering around with the Magic Lantern hack and this was the first time lapse I shot. it's a stop light in Port Angeles, WA.

Here it goes with my Uni 2nd year-end semester Project. A difficulty of this short-clip are the wind blowing are too strong on the mountain, that caused a little bit shaky.

I think this one is very inspiring. Not just a bunch of pics put together. This took a lot more work, organisation and imagination.

Getting really frustrated with this. I should know better that I need longer exposures or higher iso. But, I wanted to capture the light as it went down. Anyway, here is the result.

Thought I'd bring this one up again

Here is the first timelapse I have ever done, this was more than a year ago.

Now I also have a Stage Zero Dolly from Dynamic Perception and a Merlin Head for rotation and tilting. Hopefully will have some time to use those more intensively soon.

Only my second attempt, but my first time using the bulb ramping feature of ML. I seem to have did it a bit wrong as it ramps too far towards the end.

I did some light painting with stacked star trails. Each frame I tried a diferent lighting direction or color so that I could pick the one I liked the best. It turned out I liked the stacked lights over any single frame.

I took all the intermediate frames and put together a time lapse. I thought it was fun to watch the lights build up and layer. I did edit out the added light in a few frames but pretty much let it do what it wanted to.

It is best at 1080p.

That is cool!

I did this during the peak of the Geminid's this year.

Yeah I saw it, was thinking of getting one for a while. But, I think for best results, I'd need a rail and another tripod anyway. For now, Final Cut Pro will suffice.

For doing timelapse with your digital DSLR, check out the Shutterbug Remote. (http://shutterbugremote.com). You setup the dongle wirelessly with your iPhone / iPad / iPod Touch and then sit back and wait.
