Thanks Apple.

On the Windows-platform nearly all programs are “backwards-compatible”. Or which program written for Windows 8 does not run under Windows 7?

Real Nice!

What about 2008 Mac Pro users? That will suck bad if I won't be able to install Windows 8 on my 2008 Mac Pro 3.2Ghz machine.. and its just as beefy and fast as my friend's 5,1 Mac Pro.. Is there a way to change using Pacifist the text file pointing to which machines to get it installed?

In other words, can I just add to the installer check file: MacPro3,1?

According to the link Mackan posted two posts above yours, the 2008 Mac Pro is not officially supported either. Yea, doesn't look it's possible, unless someone finds a work around I guess.
