Pages & Numbers updates
Hi everyone! Happy New Year!
Ok, so the app store on my Air says I have updates available for Pages and Numbers for specifically for compatibility with IOS 7.1. which I purchased preloaded. It doesn't matter which id I sign into, they won't update. I get the message below. I've asked on the apple support community site, and been in touch with support. It's a very slooooow process. 1 email per day for support, so I thought I'd ask here. Here's a screenshot of the message I get. Thanks for ANY help I can get!

Are you 100% sure that you are signing into the right account? Are sure you didn’t install them off a friend’s account, or anything like that...?

Hmm... Well, if that’s the account you used to purchase them, then you could just delete and reinstall them?

Hold on a sec... Did you buy your Mac second hand? And the apps were there when you bought it?

You said you tried signing in with multiple accounts, but how did you go about it? Did you just try different logins when presented with the authentication window? If so, try logging out completely (the option is from the menu bar, Store > Sign Out) and then sign back in. I had a somewhat similar issue when I changed my AppleID... not sure if this wil fix it for you though, but it's worth a try.

As far as signing in and out, I signed completely out before signing in with each id, so that's not the issue. As support told me, I'm going to have to make a call or go into the Genius Bar. I think I'll go in, since I can't sync my phone without losing a bunch of stuff as well. But thanks again!
