Typography shape generator (photoshop/illustrator)

Hi, I was wondering if there was some kind of typography text shape generator/action or so for photoshop, illustrator or even an app just for that. (Something like tagxedo.com) But I would like to be able to select the shape, font, words and so on by myself. Do you know of something like this?
