Just find the cheapest, these days most platter drives have more or less the same reliability.

I got this blu-ray burner at Futureshop and it works absolutely fine with my Macbook Air.

I use it to rip my blu-ray collection and to burn some Hi-Def projects with Toast Tinanium on blu-ray discs. It plugs with USB3 and works like a charm. No drivers to install, no special programs.

Can't wait to use it on my new iMac that's coming :-)
