Did you see that last couple of EPs? Holy smokes, The Guest (EP 6) was a stunning bit of television (A @ AVC [highest rating], 9.4 @ IGN)

Solace for Tired Feet (EP7) was pretty terrific too (B+ @ AVC, 9.0 @ IGN) , Scott Glenn is always a treat, so good in this, the scene in the diner was spectacular.

I’ve been a bit up and down, but these last two episodes were as good as anything on TV.

[edit]

Just realized I quoted you twice in a few minutes, in two different threads. I feel like I’m stalking you ...

Doesn't seem like it. It looks like the story lines have a some sort of finality to them, not leaving it open for future projects. I'm pretty sure one of the main characters will die; they already killed Tara and Mrs. Fortenberry, so it's hardly a stretch.

I'm caught up now on The Leftovers, but I still feel the same about it, which is hard to describe. The closest I can compare this to is how I feel when I watch a David Lynch film.

I want to know what happened, but everything just seems so damn random.

No, I've missed those, but once I discovered this was a story without answers (at least the book is reported to be), I lost interest. Maybe the producers will see fit to insert an answer, lol. I figured Scott Glen would be pretty good. At this point in time, there is absolutely nothing on that is blowing me away. I can take or leave all of the titles I mentioned even Masters of Sex, while acknowledging it's goodness.

No worries on stalking.

Is anyone watching AMC's Halt and Catch Fire?

Got lots of Apple, IBM, and other companies playing in the script's background and in general, it is greatly written & executed. Maybe more tears played out than necessary at some points, but all in all, highly recommended

I've seen a few episodes and it's not bad. Don't get too attached as I've heard it may not get renewed because of poor ratings.

IMDB user ratings have no meaning

They've lost over half their audience from the premier to the season finale. Something like 1.2 million down to 500k +/-
