iTunes TV shows in HD on iPad but not desktop...

Hi!

iCloud shows I can re download some TV show purchases I have made in HD on my iPad 3 (Peep Show series 1-6, Fawltey Towers etc) however on my desktop these are not available to download in HD. In fact they are only available to buy in both stores in SD. What gives? Anyone know?
