You don't believe in responsibly storing your guns? I would bet my life that more deaths have been the result of irresponsible gun owners than video games.

It's only fear mongering if it's not true. This took me about 10 minutes to find, all from this month.

12/5/12 - A 4-year-old boy accidentally shot and killed his younger brother Wednesday afternoon while playing with their father's handgun in the family's Minneapolis townhouse, police said.

According to police, the 2-year-old victim, identified by family members as Neegnco Xiong, died after his brother discovered the loaded handgun in a bedroom and it discharged while he was handling it.

12/9/12-A 7-year-old boy was shot to death outside a Pennsylvania gun store Saturday after his father's handgun accidentally went off as the pair were getting situated in their pickup truck and preparing to leave the parking lot, according to state police.

12/12/12- -A 12-year-old Missouri boy shot and killed his friend Tuesday with a gun that belonged to his grandfather, Fox2Now.com reported.

The boy found the gun in an unlocked bedroom at his grandfather`s house in University City, a suburb Northwest of St. Louis, police said. The boy reportedly lived with his grandfather.

12/18/12-The identity of a 3-year-old boy who fatally shot himself accidentally with a gun owned by his uncle was released Tuesday.

Ryder Rozier had been at the home of Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper Ian Rozier, 37, near the town of Guthrie, Okla., around noon on Saturday when he found a loaded gun in his uncle’s bedroom.

The firearm, which was one of Ian Rozier’s private guns, went off after Ryder picked it up. According to the state medical examiner’s office, the boy died at the scene due to an accidental gunshot wound to the head.

Attempt at control in past have failed, and as the saying goes "if you do the same thing expecting a different result is the definition of insanity".

Need to think outside the beltway and explore any idea.

Again, if everyone is taught gun safety and mental health from an early age, then effective gun control laws can be in place.

Here's a laugh, apparently Wayne LaPierre has received many new death threats since his speech on Friday. I'm curious how they'd follow through with that, as presumably they are anti-2nd amendment civil rights haters. Stabbing? Poison?
