hello,

does anyone know what is cmd+R command in terminal application ? see "Shell' menu.

i hit this one instead of ctrl+R and i can't figure out what happended :)

the computer's help pages say nothing useful about it and google doesn't answer the question.

Yea, the terminal should look normal after a reset. If you ever see weird characters displayed on the screen after running a command...

Code:
prompt> echo -e '\033(0'

⎻⎼⎺└⎻├>

Do the reset to fix it. You could also type reset (even though it'll type out in hieroglyphs) and hit enter.

hello,

thanks a lot !

i'll use this 'cmd+R' whenever printing binary stuffs breaks my terminal character set.
