Advertising in signature?

Hi,

I'm wondering if it's allowed to advertise via my signature? I've written an iOS app, and I'd like to put a link to it in my signature.

To fill in the picture. r.j.s. is correct. But you cannot post simply to get the signature on the forums. Post as normal and all is OK. Start making pointless posts just to spam with links (we see this quite a bit from newbies who think we won't notice) will get you banned!
