This is why I love the design of the iPhone 4/4S -- the glossy glass finish and the stainless steel band were absolutely perfect in terms of industrial design, in my opinion.

Agree...the 4/4S was the best design so far...I still miss using it! Every now and then I take it out of the box and look at it again LOL :eek:

I don't want to open a new topic cos this is somehow related.

Did Apple improve their anodize process?
I believe I read somewhere if the process lasted longer the finish would be more resistant.

Has anybody noticed the difference in products made in the last few weeks?
I got my black and it is week 46. I don't have scratches, but I keep it a silicone translucent case.
I don't want to test and purposly scratch it.

On the other hand I'm still a bit worried and plan on swapping it for a white one.

I want to polish mine too, definitely the front because it's the worst side
but is it too risky, anyone tried it?
