Hello all, first post and recent Mac convert here, New Years Day in fact, and very pleased to say that Apple has bought back the fun in computing for me.

Running a 2012 11" 1.7/i5/4GB/128GB and am having no problem at all using it as my main computer with my full filing system stored on Dropbox and accessed as I need.

Have the Speck snap-on hard case in smoky grey, excellent product and keeps the unit cool and safe and the Samsonite Inventure² Security Laptop Messenger which I can also thoroughly recommend as a stylish and functional EDC solution.

Only real problem I have is that I now want an Apple desktop, phone, tablet.........................:D

2013 13" i5 MBA (256GB / 8GB RAM). My one and only computer, which I plug into a Dell 24" IPS display on occasion.

Wrapped in bestskinsever matte skin (but only the top and the bottom) and usually slipped into a messenger bag with a padded section for laptops.

What's your setup consist of?

1. Which MacBook Air do you have?

2. Is the Air your main computer? Do you use it along with an external monitor, another computer(s), iPad or ?

3. Use a sleeve, skin, speck case? What kind of bag or backpack have you found suitable for the Air's?

Photo's WELCOME!

Well, here we go:

1. 11'i-5/8GB/512 SSD ---> Super awesome, chill, never heard a fan
2. Yes it is, no external monitor till now, yes got Ipad mini too
3. Yes, got the WF sleeve from sfbags.com and it kicks ass :)

1. My setup is in my signature. The 2013 i5 11" air has been great. I went with the 128GB base model because I have my iTunes and iPhoto libraries on an external drive.

2. It is hooked up to a Thunderbolt Display and is my main computer. I have a Dell Optiplex at work but I rarely use it.

3. I use a Dodocase Durables sleeve. It was a little pricey but the quality and feel are great. http://www.dodocase.com/products/macbook-air-sleeve. I use a ColcaSac shoulder bag. They make great sleeves too.

Use it with 2 1TB usb 3.0 drives, one for my media, the other for time machine back ups still have around 20gb free on my SSD but am planning to upgrade to the 11" 2013 model with 256gb ssd (this was my 1st mac ever and i bought it on impulse without research)

This is btw my main and only computer, always carry it with me inside a foam sleeve/pouch in my messenger bag

1. 2013 13" Ultimate

2. It is my main computer right now. I also have the most recent 21" iMac and a Shuttle SX79R5 built for home media/server. No external monitors as of now.

3. Thule backpack from the apple store. Pretty good and sturdy so far.

1. 2013 MBA 11" i5, 128MB SSD, 4GB RAM The 2013s have WAY better battery life than previous generations

2. I have a Mac Mini with a big monitor connected to a big external drive for media storage. I do graphic design, video editing and stuff like that on the Mini. The Air is for carrying around for writing, though it is powerful enough for Photoshop and the like. Basically any files that are on the Air are kept inside my Dropbox folder so it's always synched with the Mini. I can also get to all those files on my iPhone or the web.

3. I have a Waterfield Designs nylon case that's well padded. I just throw that in my messenger bag and I'm good to go.
