Egg Nog - Page 5

You haven't had good egg-nog until you've had some home-made 'nog. The consistency is lighter and flufflier, but still thickish. And it'll still clog the arteries. On special occasions my wife will make it - hasn't yet this year, maybe for New Years....

Best part is that it can go bad if you don't drink it .... so we waste-not-want-not.... it is our duty, you know....

And, for the record, it's Spiced Rum in this household.

LOVE it. Usually get light version so I don't feel so guilty...

I love it and as much as I like my rum, I've never had it with rum (or any booze). I won't drink it hot, it seems disgusting hot.

Seems like a really American thing, despite being lifted from Germany via England. Never heard of anyone in Ireland drinking this concoction.
