A friend of mine works for sprint and can get 100 off each ipad. But it seems like nobody uses a sprint ipad?

Sprint's 3G network is really slow to the point that Dial-up is faster. Their LTE is good, but it is nonexistent in most of the U.S.

Yeah I kinda thought that. Prolly why they're discounted like they are. I'm holding out for the ipad 5/mini 2 but I think I'll go tmobile

If there was no contract involved, I'd jump on it -- not for the 3G, but to get the GPS functionality for only $30 more than a wifi model, instead of $130 more.

Hmm tough I guess. Yeah I could get the ipad mini for 350

Just dunno if I got faith in sprint. I know if I go tmobile or AT&T they're interchangeable really. Even verizon to a degree too. But sprint is by itself

I agree with this. It would be worth the extra $30 just to get the GPS functionality.
