iPad Model Designation
How do I figure out which model my AT&T iPad 4 is -- is it iPad3,5 or iPad3,6?
What about the AT&T iPad Mini? |

Well now I'm confused. Isn't your iPad 4 the iPad 4?

This is for the iOS downloads. I have limited bandwidth at home (rural area) so I download the entire iOS ispw files at work. The downloads are different between WiFi, GSM, & CDMA

Is there nowhere on the device or on the Apple site to find this information?

It's weird, usually there is. I even checked the developer center where they've always put ATT or Verizon in brackets next to the "iPad 3rd gen" name (for example).
But with the 4th gen they just list model numbers A1458, A1459, A1460. Most places I looked they don't even mention 3,5 and 3,6 and which models they refer to. |
