Any one else have this Mail application problem?

I use gmail, hotmail, and yahoo all via the Mail app. My gmail and yahoo account are in perfect sync with mail app.

However, when I delete something from my hotmail account using the Mail app, those emails still remain as new on the actual hotmail website. I am guessing this is a settings/sync related issue. Any idea what I need to change so that the changes I make in the mail app reflect on my hotmail account?

yes, it is pop3. can i change it to imap?

That feature must be made available by Microsoft. It has chosen not to do so. So, "No," you can't change the protocol to IMAP.
