I was waiting for the MBA refresh before I bought. If those prices are right, then the new base 13" model is cheaper than the current AU price. Hopefully those prices translate over to the USA prices. a $100 usd price drop would mean a $1200 13" base price.

I'm extremely exited to see what GPUs are on offer.

The 6870 in my Mac Pro doesn't cut the mustard at 2560x1440 so I want the ability to flash a 7870 or better :D which requires either the iMac or Mac Pro to come with such GPUs.

My workstation is at 5760x1080 with 3 1080p monitors running Premier and After Effects dealing with Red Epic 4k footage daily. I think my Mac Pro doesn't like me very much...

Would love an upgraded Time Capsule that supports some form of apps. Imagine being able to have your iCloud synced locally to that. Or an iPhoto app that keeps all your pictures organized...wishful thinking though.

I don't know about apps, but I would like to see a Time Capsule that can sink and perhaps even stream data directly to iOS devices.

So...no IMACS!?

The iMac hasn't been updated in over a year...unfortunately, it was the main thing I was hoping for at WWDC. Why no update? When?

Wow, that sure makes a statement, doesn't it?

Now MR just needs to remove their "BUY NOW!" recommendation as well.

Does that mean no Mac mini or iMac this year base on this?

What one?

Hi All out there Im going off at a tangent and jumping in the middle of this thread, hope OK, who knows if you buy UK version MC976 B/A this is the 2.6g 8 Ram 500 SSD can you upgrade the ram to 16 at a later stage. I have previously upgrade a 13 in from 4ram to 16 this is quite simple if you have correct ones from Crucial and a screwdriver! I read that the ram chips are 'fused to motherboard' on this version and cannot be upgraded! Yer I read this, true. Can anyone help here pls. I would like to obtain one of these --- yep start saving-- but if I want larger ram later I dont want to have a problem that you cannot do it. i.e Do you have to order the larger Ram from Apple from the start. Hope you people can help in someway. Thanks. and Happy New Year to all.

Pete
